Job summary

Pico Rivera Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Sub-Acute experience to join our Nursing team in California. This full-time position includes AM shift (and PM shift) with a pay scale of $22.00 to $23.00 per hour, depending on experience and location.

Candidates must be licensed, have at least one year of Sub-Acute experience, and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Responsibilities include personal care, ADL assistance, documenting rounds, responding to calls,

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification with a successful completion of a CNA program.
• Minimum one (1) year of Sub-Acute experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 including Booster(s).
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Good physical health to lift and move patients, and/or stand for long periods of time, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Compassion towards residents and their families.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care for the residents under supervision of a licensed and/or registered nurse.
• Assistance with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, grooming, dining, recreational activities, and outings.
• Organizational skills to keep the unit running smoothly.
• Answer call lights to determine and meet resident needs.
• Use proper body mechanics when necessary.
• Perform and document rounds of patients and report any changes.
• Provide companionship and excellent care to patients.
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment.
• Prioritize patient/resident activities based on current care needs.
• Proper lifting and transitioning residents from wheelchair to bed, bed to chair, etc.
• Transporting residents to dining area for meals and activities.
