Job Duties

A stylist-in-training is a temporary role designed to help unlicensed future stylists learn and integrate into the salon environment. Responsibilities include:

• Market and grow the business
• Observe and learn from stylists and managers
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Promote and sell services and retail products
• Answer phones, stock shelves, and clean
• Complete other duties as assigned

Promotion to a licensed stylist is possible but not automatic, contingent on licensing, skills, and adherence to Regis values.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited cosmetology school and obtain necessary licenses within 120 days
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment
• Good time management and multitasking skills
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Computer proficiency, including POS systems
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends
