Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited cosmetology school and obtain the necessary license(s) to perform salon services within or before 90 days of hire
• Strong communication with customers, coworkers, and management
• Ability to use POS systems and enter data efficiently

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and answer the phone with a friendly, professional attitude
• Learn the ins and outs of growing the business and controlling expenses by observing other stylists and managers
• Keep the salon clean and follow safety standards
• May be promoted to stylist after obtaining required license; promotion not guaranteed
