Cost Cutters is seeking a Stylist-in-Training for a temporary 90-day program. You will learn the business, deliver outstanding customer service, and observe salon operations while working closely with stylists and managers.

Qualified candidates graduate from an accredited cosmetology program and obtain the required license(s). You may be promoted to stylist after licensure, based on performance and state requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited cosmetology school and obtain the necessary license(s).
• Strong time management and good judgement.
• Excellent communication with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Tech savvy to use POS systems and enter data.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Learn salon operations and expense control by observing stylists and managers.
• Greet customers and answer the phone.
• Keep the salon clean and follow safety standards.
• Pursue promotion to stylist after licensure, if earned.
