Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Stylist to engage guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend products and services. You will deliver quality professional services with a focus on the guest’s total look and support the Experience Manager and Assistant Services Manager in performance, people, and process.

A passion for the beauty industry and strong guest service is essential. The role emphasizes performance, customer relationships, and compliance with procedures, including safety and sanitation

Qualifications

• Proficiency with latest salon techniques for haircutting, color, styling, treatments, extensions, makeup and ear piercing.
• Proficiency with equipment and chemicals used in professional hair care services.
• Ability to demonstrate, recommend and sell pro hair care and makeup products.

Responsibilities

• Perform hair services including design, cuts, color, texture, styling, updos, perms, blowouts and extensions.
• Meet or exceed the weekly sales and productivity goals for hair services and contribute to retail/service sales targets.
• Demonstrate business acumen and identify opportunities for growth.
• Perform product demonstrations to drive sales and guest service experience.
• Support in-store events, promotions, and marketing initiatives to deliver an unrivaled guest experience.
• Stay informed about industry trends, products, and ingredients to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
