Rhoback, based in Charlottesville, VA, is seeking a Stylist to own the creative execution of styling across studio and lifestyle for men, women, and youth, bringing the brand to life through emotional product storytelling.

You will lead every aspect of styling from conceiving looks to directing on-set adjustments and ensuring brand consistency across all visual content, with a strong point of view and knowledge of performance apparel styling.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a stylist in apparel or brand environments.

The Role

As a Stylist at Rhoback, you will own the creative execution of styling across all studio and lifestyle for men's, women's, and youth, bringing the brand to life through emotional product storytelling. You'll lead every aspect of the styling process—from conceiving and building looks to directing on-set adjustments and ensuring brand consistency across all visual content. This role requires a confident, creative self-starter with a strong point of view, deep knowledge of performance apparel styling, and the organizational discipline to run complex productions from prep through delivery.

What You'll Do

• Partner with the Marketing Creative Director, Product Design and Merchandising team to develop shot lists and build cohesive, head-to-toe outfitting that reflects seasonal direction.
• Partner with the Creative Director and Creative Operations Manager on casting, talent selection, and pre-production planning, including samples, wardrobe, and prop management.
• Lead styling for studio and on-location shoots, bringing a strong creative perspective while upholding brand standards and visual consistency.
• Own end-to-end sample management - intake, organization, tracking, and coordination - across all upcoming productions.
• Partner with photo teams to conceptualize, create, and style product laydowns in studio and on location.
• Execute all on-set styling including steaming, pinning, and fit adjustments, maintaining a polished, brand-perfect look throughout production.
• Lead coordination with Creative Operations and warehouse teams to ensure all samples, sizes, and colorways are campaign and production ready.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully functional studio environment - props, racks, styling tools and continuously improve studio systems.
• Lead both in-studio and on-location productions, including travel on short notice, with confidence and ownership.
• Drive continuous improvement of styling workflows, studio processes, and production efficiencies.
• Stay ahead of and apply relevant seasonal fashion and cultural trends, and styling techniques, to proactively elevate Rhoback's creative output.

• Strong, confident eye for styling, fit, and visual presentation with a clear point of view on performance lifestyle aesthetics.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to independently manage multiple productions and priorities simultaneously.
• Working knowledge of design tools Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Figma.
• Working knowledge of project management tools Notion or Asana.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced creative environment.

• Owns and continuously improves the sample tracking and studio environment, setting the standard for efficiency.
• Ensures every product is camera-ready, supporting an efficient and effective production.
• Builds trusted, collaborative relationships across creative, merchandising, and operations—acting as a reliable partner on every project.
• Proactively identifies and implements improvements to styling processes, workflows, and efficiencies without being asked.
• Measurably enhances the quality, consistency, and creative ambition of Rhoback's visual brand output.

Education and Experience

• 3–5 years of experience as a stylist or wardrobe stylist, ideally in an apparel, e-commerce, or brand environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Design, or a related field preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading styling on e-commerce and campaign shoots from prep through on-set execution.
• Deep familiarity with production workflows and the ability to operate independently on set.
• Background in e-commerce or apparel marketing (a plus).
• Active lifestyle alignment with the Rhoback brand.

Compensation

Base salary range: $60,000 - $95,000 per year. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Additional rewards may include performance bonuses, long-term incentives, an FTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
