Job summary

Target is seeking a Style Consultant to join our Knoxville-area team. You will welcome guests on the sales floor and in the fitting room, drive sales, maintain visual standards, and keep the floor replenished with the right products.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment requiring flexibility, teamwork, and strong guest service skills to ensure a positive shopping experience for every guest. Training is provided to learn Target’s guest-first culture and merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
• Effective communication skills
• Work both independently and with a team
• Resolve guest questions quickly
• Capable of remaining focused in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and maintain a guest-ready floor with visual standards and knowledge of assortment
• Utilize store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and guest needs
• Sort truck freight and move merchandise to the sales floor as needed
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience
• Maintain product availability and full floorpad through priority fills and merchandising
• Keep backrooms organized and support replenishment and guest requests
• Remerchandise presentations as items sell to inspire customers
• Assist with price changes and signing for promotions
• Maintain and use fitting rooms to welcome and assist guests
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by routing items back to sales floor
• Uphold safety, ethics, and compliance in all tasks
• Remain adaptable to varied shift times including nights and holidays
• Greet guests and engage helpfully to solve their needs
• Thank guests for shopping at Target and encourage return visits
