Job summary

Target is hiring a Style Consultant to join our team in-store operations and guest experience. You will create inviting, on-brand displays, assist guests with size and style choices, and maintain a welcoming fitting room environment.

You’ll work on the sales floor, collaborate with teammates, and help keep the floor stocked and accurately priced. We provide training and opportunities to build skills in merchandising, guest service, and retail fundamentals while offering a starting hourly wage

Qualifications

• Interest and knowledge of apparel and accessories.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and teammates.
• Ability to use handheld scanners and other store technology.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and keep a guest-ready floor by following visual standards.
• Understand sales and inventory data to assist guests.
• Sort freight and relocate merchandise to the floor based on needs.
• Set visual presentations to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and floor coverage with timely fills.
• Keep backroom organized to support replenishment and guest requests.
• Remerchandise displays to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
• Assist with price changes and signing during promotions.
• Support fitting rooms to welcome and help guests.
• Assist with back-up cashier and drive-up as needed while following safety rules.
