Job summary

Target is hiring a Style Consultant to help guests on the sales floor and in the fitting room, ensuring products are accurately priced, signed, and presented to inspire self-discovery. The role emphasizes friendly, knowledgeable service and a strong guest-first culture.

You will drive sales, support guest services, maintain visual merchandising, and adapt to a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and peak shopping times.

Qualifications

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple devices and operate scanners and other tech as directed.
• Effective communication skills.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly.
• Capable of remaining focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards, signage, and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings to assist the guest as needed.
• Leverage store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and guest needs.
• Sort truck freight, push freight to the salesfloor, and locate merchandise in the backroom based on business needs.
• Set visual presentations and visual merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by executing priority fills and merchandising to capacity.
• Execute backroom organization, replenishment, and guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as items sell through to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
• Support price change processes by executing clearance merchandising and signing.
• Maintain and use fitting rooms to welcome, inspire, and assist guests.
