Job summary

Target is looking for a Style Consultant to energize our sales floor with strong operations, entertaining guest experiences and compelling visual merchandising. You will help guests on the floor and in the fitting room, keeping the floor stocked, signed, and welcoming.

The role emphasizes guest service, teamwork, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. Training helps you excel from day one in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners.
• Effective communication skills.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly.
• Capable of remaining focused and composed in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver a guest ready floor by executing visual standards, signage, and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings.
• Leverage store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and guest needs.
• Sort truck freight and push freight to the salesfloor based on business needs.
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by executing priority fills and merchandising to capacity.
• Remerchandise presentations to deliver an inspiring shopping experience for guests.
• Support price change processes with signage execution.
• Maintain and use fitting rooms to welcome and assist guests.
• Assist with backroom organization and replenishment for guest requests.
