Job summary

Target in Kokomo is seeking a Style Consultant to deliver an exceptional guest experience on the sales floor and in the fitting rooms. You will help guests locate products, keep the floor tidy, and support visual merchandising standards to inspire quick self-discovery.

Training is provided; candidates should be flexible for nights, weekends, and peak shopping times while maintaining safety and ethical conduct at all times.

Qualifications

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Effective communication skills.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and maintain a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards, signage, and staying informed on assortment and brand offerings.
• Leverage store tools to understand sales and inventory, and assist guests as needed.
• Sort truck freight and move merchandise to the sales floor or backroom as required.
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by completing priority fills and merchandising to capacity.
• Support backroom organization, replenishment, and guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as items sell through to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
• Assist with price changes and signing as needed.
• Maintain and use fitting rooms to welcome and assist guests.
• Support fulfillment and guest needs throughout the day.
• Demonstrate a culture of safety and ethical conduct.
