Job summary

Target is seeking a Style Consultant to help guests on the sales floor and in the fitting room, delivering a high-energy, guest-focused experience. You will ensure the floor is fully stocked, priced, and signed with the right sizes and colors to inspire self-discovery.

You will participate in hands-on training and develop skills in guest services, merchandising, and operations to support a culture of customer care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology.
• Effective communication skills.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly.
• Capability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver a guest ready floor by executing visual standards and signing.
• Leverage store tools to understand sales and inventory ownership.
• Sort truck freight and locate merchandise in the backroom based on business needs.
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by executing priority fills and merchandising to capacity.
• Execute backroom organization and replenishment to support guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as needed to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
• Support price change processes with proper signing execution.
• Maintain and use fitting rooms to welcome and assist guests.
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by moving merchandise from fitting rooms to the floor.
• Adhere to safety policies and ethical conduct at all times.
