Job summary

Target is hiring a Style Consultant to join our team in a fast-paced retail environment. You will greet guests, assist with fashion choices, and ensure the sales floor and fitting rooms are welcoming and well-presented.

You will support guest services, maintain stock and backroom organization, and help drive sales through strong product knowledge and friendly, helpful service. This role requires responsiveness, teamwork, and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Effective communication skills.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver a guest ready floor by executing visual standards, signage, and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings to assist the guest as needed.
• Leverage store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and to solve guest needs.
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by executing fills and merchandising to capacity.
• Support backroom organization and replenishment to assist guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as items sell through to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
• Work with price change processes and signage to communicate promotions.
