Job summary

Lakeside Foods, Inc in Manitowoc, Wisconsin is seeking a Stuffing Employee to support meat production operations. You will prepare materials, operate stuffing equipment, monitor product quality, and maintain production records as part of a respectful, safety-focused team.

This full-time role offers stable hours, on-the-job training, and growth opportunities in the food manufacturing industry, with emphasis on SOPs, GMPs, USDA/FSIS rules and clean, safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow detailed production procedures and instructions.
• Strong focus on product quality and food safety.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for counting and documentation.
• Prior meat processing or food manufacturing experience preferred (training provided).
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load meat tanks onto stuffing equipment and prepare product for production runs.
• Monitor product appearance, casing integrity, and consistency during production.
• Tie knots on natural casing products to ensure portion and product integrity.
• Transfer and hang finished product onto racks for further processing.
• Assist with casing preparation and supply monitoring during production.
• Maintain accurate production, lot, and quality records.
• Follow all SOPs, GMPs, USDA/FSIS regulations, and food safety requirements.
• Participate in food safety, HACCP, GMP, and safety training programs.
• Perform sanitation and housekeeping duties after production.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
