Job summary

Sotera Health is seeking a Study Director to coordinate laboratory studies, act as the main customer liaison, and ensure clear, timely, and compliant execution across our testing programs.

You will translate customer needs into lab direction, oversee study activities from initiation to final reporting, review data for accuracy, and maintain traceability, while collaborating with Sales, QA, and lab teams in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field preferred.
• Associate degree with relevant lab experience acceptable.
• Significant lab experience and coordination skills.
• Experience in regulated environments (GLP, GMP, ISO) beneficial.
• Strong documentation and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple studies and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and LIS.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for customers on assigned studies.
• Translate customer requirements into clear direction for laboratory teams.
• Coordinate study activities from initiation through final reporting.
• Review study data, calculations, statistics, and documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain sample and data traceability throughout testing and ensure regulatory alignment.
• Update study information in CRM and laboratory systems.
