Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks a Senior Clinical Research Participant Coordinator within the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center's Cellular Therapy Program. You will oversee planning, organizing, and evaluating complex clinical research participant management and data collection, liaising between study staff, participants, and clinical teams.

Position Summary

This position will serve as a Senior Clinical Research Participant Coordinator within the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Cellular Therapy Program. The Cellular Therapy Program is one of the select few academic centers in the United States with the scientific, technical, and clinical capabilities to identify new tumor targets, develop, and infuse novel CAR -T therapy. The Senior Clinical Research Participant Coordinator has a full knowledge of research and is responsible for independently planning, organizing, and evaluating clinical research participant management and data collection for a variety of complex clinical research protocols, including leading efforts in evaluating and modifying data collection and recruitment methods, liaising between study staff, participants, and clinical staff, and data collection. The Senior Clinical Research Participant Coordinator facilitates the integration of research activities into the clinical care environment, conveying information to a variety of individuals and groups while instructing and educating clinical staff and providers.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Management Preferences

Experience with early-phase or first-in-human clinical trials.

Oncology or cell/gene therapy experience preferred.

Prior experience with multi-disciplinary clinical teams.
