Job summary

Gaia seeks a Production Operations Coordinator to manage content readiness, air scheduling, and travel logistics for guests and production teams at our Louisville, CO campus. You will ensure assets, metadata, descriptions, tags, and QC steps meet air date requirements while coordinating domestic and international travel for Gaia guests and staff.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in television production, production coordination, post-production, media operations, scheduling, or a similar deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple air schedules, deadlines, travel itineraries, and priorities.
• Strong AI skills for writing/editing with solid grammar and audience-focused messaging.
• Comfortable with content metadata, taxonomy, tagging systems, and content management workflows.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms, Airtable, or similar project-tracking tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Clear, professional communication with internal teams, guests, talent, vendors, and partners.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs while adapting to changing priorities.
• Experience using AI tools to support tagging optimization and editorial analysis.
• Interest in Gaia’s themes including personal growth, consciousness, and spirituality.

Responsibilities

• Content Readiness & Air Schedule Support: Prepare licensed and original content for publishing in alignment with Gaia’s air schedule and track title readiness across programs.
• Quality control checks to confirm publishing readiness, editorial accuracy, and consistency.
• Write/edit titles and descriptions with AI reflecting Gaia’s editorial voice.
• Apply taxonomy, tagging, AI tools, and audience insights to improve discoverability and recommendations.
• Collaborate across teams to align on release timing, messaging, and viewer experience.
• Assist content discovery by curating programs for audience engagement goals.
• Maintain high accuracy under fast-moving production timelines.
• Travel & Production Operations: Arrange domestic and international travel and accommodations for guests and staff.
• Coordinate flights, hotels, transportation; resolve scheduling and logistical issues.
• Negotiate rates with airlines, hotels, and vendors; reconcile travel expenses.
