Job summary

The Studio Assistant at Theory will support Theory’s Creative Production team in New York, ensuring the studio is organized, production-ready, and efficient for seasonal campaigns and e-commerce shoots. You’ll provide hands-on production and administrative support both on-site and across workflows, partnering with producers and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in studio coordination, creative production, fashion, photography, or related environment.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative, service-minded approach.
• Professional and confident when working with internal teams, senior leaders, creative talent, agencies, freelancers, and vendors.
• Comfortable coordinating calendars, studio schedules, shipments, vendors, and production logistics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort learning production, scheduling, and asset-management tools.
• Interest in fashion, photography, design; prior experience supporting photo or video shoots strongly preferred.
• Ability to be on-site and provide hands-on support with schedule flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day organization and readiness of Theory’s New York studio for shoots.
• Support studio schedules, production logistics, and evolving project needs with the team.
• Assist with on-site production of e-commerce shoots, including planning and coordination.
• Coordinate production-related administrative tasks such as purchase orders and vendor onboarding.
• Coordinate studio bookings, calendars, meeting spaces, and visitor access.
• Maintain studio supplies, equipment, and shared spaces; identify workflow improvements.
