Job summary

Town & Country Living in Glen Rock, NJ, seeks a Photographer/Videographer to lead creative and technical execution in studio lighting for video and stills. You’ll collaborate with the Creative Studio Manager and Creative Director of Marketing to evolve processes and deliverables in a fast-paced in-house studio.

You're responsible for creating captivating images and videos that elevate our brand across e-commerce, social, signage, and marketing materials.

Qualifications

Strong portfolio demonstrating lifestyle and interiors photography and video.
Must provide a link with your resume; resumes without a portfolio will not be considered.
Preference for photographers with soft goods experience.
Post-secondary education or 5+ years of relevant working experience in commercial photography.
Interest in home interiors and trends in lifestyle brands, online commerce, consumer behaviors, social media.
Acute attention to detail while seeing the bigger picture.
Drive to collaborate with stakeholders and receive feedback.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Expertise with Capture One and Photoshop; Mac proficiency required.
Proficient with multiple camera and lighting systems for video and stills.
Familiar with Trello; ability to adapt and learn.

Responsibilities

The photographer/videographer works in the in-house photo studio, coordinating with the production, styling, and post-production teams.
Extensive skill in still life, lifestyle photography and video; capture BTS, interviews, and stylized media with strong lighting and composition.
Collaborate with team to plan, frame, execute, and direct shoots in studio and on location.
Create scenes under varied conditions with editorial lighting, capturing product texture, color, and quality.
Pivot and troubleshoot professionally and positively.
Work closely with styling team and Studio Manager to maintain timelines and workflows.
Full-time, in-person role creating compelling media for brands across physical and digital platforms.
Manage and maintain photo and video equipment, storage, and inventory.
Create and uphold processes in the studio.
Drive production forward, supporting Studio team members when needed.
Work with external stakeholders to understand business needs and goals.
Research changes and trends in the industry and contribute to pre-production planning.
