Job summary

Consulting For Architects, Inc. is seeking a Studio Manager specializing in Finance & Operations to oversee the firm's financial, operational, and administrative functions.

Reporting to the Principal, you will own budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and project profitability while guiding invoicing, payroll, contracts, and risk management. You will also lead staffing, resource planning, and develop AI-assisted workflows to improve efficiency and growth.

Qualifications

• Strong budgeting, forecasting, cash flow reporting.
• Experience with architectural project scoping, staffing, contracting, billing, and delivery.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Xero and Gusto.
• Demonstrated experience with AI tools and workflow automation.
• Excellent organization, communication, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee firm-wide budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
• Manage project finances: fee tracking, billing, consultant costs, and profitability.
• Supervise invoicing, collections, accounts payable, payroll, benefits, contracts, and insurance renewals.
• Lead fee proposals, registrations, and compliance; coordinate staffing and project resources.
• Develop AI-assisted tools and workflows to improve operations.
• Collaborate with Principal on business planning, growth, and long-term operations.
