Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Composes and frames camera shots as requested by directors.
• Adjusts camera positions and controls for focus and lighting.
• Operates studio and remote cameras during live broadcasts.
• Confers with directors to discuss sequences and desired effects.
• Sets up and maintains camera equipment.
• Produces graphics for the newscast.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
