  • Foster a culture of ownership, mentorship, and shared expectations.
  • Coordinate staffing and workflow in partnership with firm leadership.
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for the local team.
  • Reinforce design and delivery standards across the studio.
  • Serve as the go-to leader for studio staff in their functional area.
  • Foster a positive and accountable studio environment.
  • Mentor the team and support performance conversations.
  • Represent local studio needs to Humphreys leadership.
  • Coordinate work assignments in collaboration with discipline and operations leaders.
  • Monitor utilization and resource gaps and elevate concerns proactively.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and welcoming new hires.
  • Reinforce design, documentation, and delivery standards.
  • Conduct early-stage QA/QC as appropriate or facilitate timely review by others.
  • Promote operational best practices in project execution.
  • Support local facility needs, including seating, resources, and logistics in collaboration with the HR & Workplace team.
  • Participate in leadership communications and studio-wide meetings.
  • Support culture-building activities and visibility across teams.

Humphreys & Partners Architects is seeking a Studio Lead to join our team. The Studio Lead serves as an anchor for team performance, cultural alignment, and workflow coordination. This role bridges project execution and staff development, offering day-to-day oversight and a leadership presence that ensures the studio remains responsive, aligned, and productive. Studio Leads carry out these responsibilities while continuing to perform their primary duties in project work

Job Responsibilities

Quality & Standards

Reporting Relationships

Studio Leads typically report to a Regional Director or the Chief Architecture Officer, depending on the studio structure.

Additional Information:

Location: Hybrid (Must be able to report weekly to office in Altamonte Springs, Florida)
