General Motors is seeking a Studio Engineering Technical Leader (SETL) to unite design and engineering across programs, driving innovative solutions while aligning with enterprise constraints. The role leads a team of technical specialists in lighting, VRU, IP/Consoles, and ADAS integration, ensuring scalable, high-quality integration across programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
8+ years of experience in a related field.
Knowledge of CAD systems, including VIS, and math-model creation processes.
Ability to lead ambiguous, cross-functional technical challenges and translate them into actionable innovation.
Deep knowledge of GM's vehicle engineering processes and GVDP.

Responsibilities

Lead and introduce new solutions across programs, aligning stakeholders and advancing innovative solutions.
Benchmarking to reach new heights in integrated architecture and theme enablement.
Identify, develop, and implement new ways to reduce complexity and improve integration quality.
Harmonize engineering, manufacturing, studio, and business imperatives with a total enterprise focus.
Communicate program status clearly to enable informed decision-making.
Lead virtual integration activities with digital reviews and data-driven insights.
Proactively identify and resolve integration issues through creative problem solving and trade-off management.
