LGE Design Build seeks a Studio Director to lead the Texas Architectural Studio, balancing design excellence with project delivery and team development. You will guide day-to-day operations, oversee staff, and ensure quality, schedule, and budget targets are met across multiple projects.

Reporting to leadership, you will mentor project managers and architects, promote a culture of collaboration, and drive continuous improvement in design and construction integration.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Design Professional.
  • 15+ years of progressive architectural leadership.
  • Commitment to design excellence and technical accuracy.
  • Strong leadership skills with mentoring ability.
  • Excellent communication with clients, staff, consultants, and builders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and architectural software.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a team-focused culture.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Texas office and staff to meet project delivery.
  • Ensure design and construction documents meet quality standards and design intent.
  • Act as lead architect and principal-in-charge for projects within the Texas Division.
  • Coordinate with preconstruction and construction teams for integration.
  • Manage project schedules and staffing to deliver on time and within fee.
  • Maintain strong client communication and relationships throughout design and construction.
  • Develop QA/QC processes and standardized design/document protocols.
