Job summary

KW Landscape Architects is seeking a Director to lead our Austin office, shaping design direction, studio culture, and market presence. You will own the business growth, profitability, and long-term success of the studio, guiding design quality across commercial, mixed-use, master planned, civic, hospitality, retail, and multifamily sectors.

Qualifications include 13–15 years in landscape architecture, PLA licensure, and strong leadership, financial, and client-relations skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution.
• PLA licensure required.
• Minimum 13 to 15 years of progressive experience in landscape architecture, with a track record leading complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Set and champion the design direction for the Austin office and oversee large-scale projects from concept to construction.
• Lead, manage, and grow the design team across KW offices and develop future leaders.
• Oversee project portfolios, budgets, and deliverables to ensure profitability and quality.
