Job summary

Equinox in San Francisco is seeking a Studio Cycling Instructor to deliver energetic, safe, and engaging cycling classes. The role requires engaging participants, maintaining class flow, and providing equipment help as needed. You will report to the Group Fitness Manager and contribute to member experience.

Ideal candidates hold a cycling certification and CPR/AED, with knowledge of anatomy and fitness guidelines. This on-site position offers competitive pay and club benefits.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current cycling certification (Schwinn or Stages recommended).
• Must possess and maintain CPR/AED certification.
• Knowledge of basic anatomy, kinesiology, contraindicated exercises, and ACSM guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Equinox experience in each class.
• Adhere to class descriptions and adjust intensity as needed.
• Monitor exercise intensity throughout the class duration.
• Ensure classes begin and end on time.
• Assist members with technical/mechanical bike support.
• Teach respective classes regularly and minimize subbing.
• Communicate member feedback and scheduling status with the Group Fitness Manager.
