Job description

Reports to: Photo Studio Manager and Sample Coordination Manager

Summary:

The Studio Content Production Assistant is a hybrid role that plays a vital part in studio production and on-camera content creation. From prepping samples to hosting live styling events, this role ensures our product comes to life in a way that is polished, organized, and engaging.

The ideal candidate for this role thrives behind the scenes and shines in front of the camera—someone with a passion for fashion, a keen eye for detail, and the confidence to represent Wantable’s brand voice across photo, video, and social platforms.

Primary Responsibilities:

Studio Operations (40%)

1. Organize and prepare merchandise for on-figure and off-figure shoots (steaming, tagging, organizing, etc.).
2. Provide on-set styling support to the Lead Stylist as needed.
3. Support studio team with equipment handling, including packing and shipping items for projects and managing studio props and supplies.
4. Help coordinate shoot-day logistics, including lunches, product pickups (mileage reimbursed), and occasional errands.

Sample Coordination (40%)

1. Receive, tag, and organize incoming product samples for marketing and campaign shoots.
2. Maintain a well-organized and up-to-date sample archive with accurate labeling and tracking.
3. Conduct quality control checks to ensure color accuracy and garment integrity.
4. Input key product data (SKUs, PO’s, sample status) and maintain sample documentation.
5. Be a confident on-camera presence for live styling events, social media takeovers, behind-the-scenes content, and product try-ons.
6. Collaborate with the content and social teams to film short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, etc.)
7. Participate in omnichannel content shoots as needed (as a model, stylist, or host).
8. Represent Wantable’s brand voice and style with authenticity and enthusiasm across platforms.

Additional Functions:

1. Other duties as assigned. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.

Goals and Outcomes:

1. Speed & Accuracy: Process a minimum of 12 samples per hour while maintaining accuracy.
2. Prep Time: Maintain product prep time under 3 minutes per item.
3. Sample Intake: Ensure samples are checked in within 24 hours of arrival.
4. Organization: Maintain a consistently organized and accessible studio and sample archive.
5. Maintain a consistently organized and accessible sample inventory, supporting seamless photography and video operations.
6. Increase sample preparation efficiency, reducing garment prep time and enhancing shoot readiness.
7. Meet daily production and quality benchmarks for studio operations and sample coordination.
8. Collaborate in engaging video content that supports brand campaigns and builds audience connection.

Requirements

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
4. Proficient in basic computer skills, including Google Workspace; experience with data entry and record-keeping.
5. Comfortable being on camera and interacting with a live audience.
6. Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds and stand or walk for an entire 8-hour shift.

Preferred Experience, But Not Required:

1. Working knowledge of Apple technology.
2. Familiarity with Google products (Drive, Gmail and Docs).
