Job summary

NBCUniversal Local in Needham, MA is seeking a dedicated Producer for Studio & Creative Content to lead a new daily show focused on Boston culture. You will guide on-air talent, create multi-platform content, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive engaging stories for NBC Boston.

The role requires strong production experience, live show oversight, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with on-site responsibilities five days a week in Needham.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3 years experience in television production, including live shows.
• Experience leading a team to align on initiatives and voice.

Responsibilities

• Be the creative engine for a live daily studio show from inception to delivery.
• Develop engaging segments by researching Boston culture and zeitgeist.
• Manage multiple on-air talents and ensure top performances.
• Build show graphics and lower thirds for social platforms.
• Coordinate with Ops for technical execution in the control room.
• Collaborate with content, production, social, ad sales, and marketing teams.
• Capable of acting as a field producer when needed.
