Job summary

The University of Georgia is seeking a Student Worker for the Safety Unit at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Athens. This role supports the Safety and Compliance program with dosimetry badge handling, equipment checks, waste collection, and office assistance.

Flexible scheduling and weekend coverage are possible, with up to 20 hours per week. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, able to work independently, and able to handle duties in a biosafety environment.

This position is responsible for providing support to the Safety and Compliance program at the University of Georgia Veterinary Teaching Hospital.

  • Preferred experience in a large and small animal care facility.
