Job summary

Aramark Lead Student Worker role overseeing the food operation, including supervision, training, and ensuring quantities prepared and served meet safety and quality standards. You will direct daily activities, maintain schedules, and support inventory management in a fast-paced campus environment.

The position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to handle stress, and willingness to work occasional night and weekend catered events while mentoring fellow food service workers.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
• Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Maintain emotional control under stress.
• Must be a student at the Aramark location.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production records.
• Direct daily activities.
• Maintain all serving schedules; ensure that all food items are served per menu specifications in a safe and appropriate manner following department policies and procedures.
• Maintain inventory on a weekly basis and prepare orders as needed to ensure accurate production.
• Supervise and evaluate employees; counsel; promote employee growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork.
• Be able to work occasional night and weekend catered events.
• Attend food service meetings with staff and maintain communication with office staff.
