The Welding Student Worker assists the Welding Department with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment. This position supports faculty and students by preparing materials for lab activities, maintaining welding booths and equipment, and performing a variety of general shop duties.
This position works in a welding laboratory/shop environment at both the Technical Education Center (TEC) on the Sugar Grove Campus and the Plano Campus. The student worker may be exposed to noise, dust, and typical welding shop conditions while following all required safety procedures.
