Longmont High School (LHS) is seeking a part-time Event Production Tech to help promote athletics and activities. You will create game night productions and build high quality content for fans, athletes, events and sponsors, under the guidance of licensed district staff.
Ideal applicants are high school students who love sports, have video production experience, and want to gain hands-on experience in live events. Available nights and weekends; hours per day 3–6, about 30 days per year.
Longmont High School (LHS), founded as Longmont's original high school in 1901, is a learning community committed to guiding students in becoming productive, empowered and involved citizens of the world. All students have access to a full continuum of rigorous academic course offerings and a diverse selection of co-curricular activities.
Additionally, LHS is home to several instructional focus programs which include Advanced Placement courses, the Medical and BioScience Academy and the High School Business Program. In addition to their coursework, students have the opportunity to participate in internship programs with local professionals and college credit opportunities.
Under the guidance of St. Vrain licensed staff, the Event Production Techs will play a critical role in promoting athletics and activities at Longmont High School. They will create game night productions that enhance the fan experience while bringing greater exposure to LHS athletes, activities, events and sponsors. The event production techs will work in unison with the sports marketing and event production class to build high quality content for game night productions. This part-time position is ideal for a high school student who is enthusiastic about our sports, has experience with video production, and is eager to build a high quality game night experience. Available nights and weekends.
