  • Assist the department with miscellaneous administrative tasks/projects and other responsibilities.

Job description

The Student Worker works on campus in an academic and administrative support role for the School of Divinity. These roles can range from assisting the Dean’s office with projects, administrative work, and events to assisting professors in class with grading, communicating with students, and any other classroom needs.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  1. Work under the supervision of the Dean’s office, Department Chair, or Professor to whom assigned.
  2. Be present for all necessary events put on by the department.
  3. Attend all training sessions per the department’s direction.

Pay Rate: Starting at $12.77. Student employees are paid at least the current Virginia minimum wage per hour. Pay may vary by position and department based on job responsibilities, required skills, available funding, and market conditions.
