Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Work-Study Wellness Center Assistant for the CNS Outpost Food Pantry. You will help create a welcoming, student-centered environment and support pantry operations and data management.

Responsibilities include front desk service, inventory, donations processing, and program support at CNS Outpost locations. Requires active Work-Study and enrollment in at least 12 credits.

Qualifications

• Active Work-Study Award required.
• Enrolled in at least 12 credit hours.
• Available to work Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 am–4 pm.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong reliability, professionalism, and customer service skills.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk and Customer Service: Welcome visitors and provide excellent customer service, answer questions, assist students as needed, and support daily front desk operations and administrative tasks.
• Pantry Operations: Open and close the CNS Outpost Food Pantry, stock shelves, maintain an organized pantry space, and monitor inventory levels and assist with supply organization.
• Donation and Data Management: Receive, sort, log, and process food and supply donations, accurately record visitors and donation information using management software, and assist with inventory tracking and reporting.
• Program Support: Prepare, pick up, and deliver supplies to pantry satellite locations as needed, maintain confidentiality of student information in accordance with university policies and applicable laws, perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
