Job summary

ChoiceCare Transportation Inc. in Cincinnati, Ohio is hiring School Van Drivers to transport high school students to and from school locations. Shifts are part-time or full-time with a 6-hour split shift, starting at $16 per hour.

Training is provided, with CPR and First Aid certification offered. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid US driver's license for 2+ years, and an Ohio Class D license or ability to obtain it.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid US driver’s license for at least 2 years.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ohio Class D license or ability to obtain Ohio license.
• No DWI/DUI.
• Clean driving record.
• Pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.
• Must live in Cincinnati area.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation to high school-aged children.
• Demonstrate excellent defensive driving skills.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Supervise safe passenger loading and unloading from the vehicle.
• Ensure the on-time pick-up and drop-off of riders.
• Demonstrates understanding and sensitivity to the needs of our customers and riders.
• Complete thorough vehicle pre-trip, post-trip, and inspections as required.
• Maintain clean assigned vehicle(s), interior and exterior.
• Complete paperwork as required.
• Utilise tablets or electronic devices as required.
• This is a part-time, split shift position, working 6 hours per day.
