Job summary

First PREMIER Bank is hiring a part-time teller who is a full-time student and enrolled in at least 12 credits. The role covers meal/lunch coverage and occasional Saturdays, with year-round employment and a $2,000 annual scholarship potential.

You will greet customers, process deposits and withdrawals, manage a cash drawer, and perform opening/closing duties. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential; training provided; locations vary as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a full-time student enrolled in at least 12 credit hours and currently attending a qualifying college.
• Express ideas clearly and respond effectively to customers and organizational needs.
• Able to use standard office equipment and software to support processes.
• Identify sales opportunities during service interactions to enhance customer service.
• Demonstrate trustworthy conduct and professional interaction with colleagues and customers.
• Collaborate with coworkers to maintain an efficient work unit and strong teamwork.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and process transactions accurately while maintaining confidentiality.
• Handle deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks, Savings Bonds, and loan/credit card payments.
• Follow procedures to meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Review account information and assist customers with questions using internal systems.
• Perform branch opening and closing duties independently.
• Manage a cash drawer and balance it daily according to teller standards.
