Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting on the fly and solving unexpected issues.
• Strong customer service communication and friendly demeanor.
• Basic knowledge of audio/visual technology.
• Experience using tools or willingness to learn new ones (drills, sockets, sets).
• Willingness to lift up to 50 pounds, with support, for equipment.
• Microsoft Excel experience (recording, sorting, filtering, and data analysis).

Responsibilities

• Make and manage reservations for the College of Education.
• Respond and create tickets for classroom support, reservation requests, equipment requests, and more.
• Provide classroom support for faculty and staff in SZB and Bellmont (BEL) Hall.
• Document new skills learned for future student techs.
• Support the SZB Building Manager with installing, maintaining, and configuring technology and furniture.
• Collaborate with ITO and Student Affairs staff as needed.
• Use Microsoft Excel to analyze data for Facilities and ITO.
