Job summary

Austin Community College seeks an Assistant II for the TLED Computer Centers. In a busy open lab, you assist students with technical issues, manage check-out of devices, and help run short training sessions on ACC software and technologies.

You will handle FERPA-compliant inquiries, coordinate with campus departments, keep accurate logs, and support a friendly college environment focused on student success. This role is hourly and community-minded.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Adaptable and able to multitask in a busy lab.

Responsibilities

• Assist students, faculty, and staff with technical issues in the Computer Center.
• Answer questions and refer non-technical inquiries to the proper departments.
• Coordinate second level requests and ensure FERPA compliance.
• Check out equipment to students and staff; maintain logs and data.
• Provide feedback for training opportunities and work with campus teams.
