Job summary

Austin Community College District is seeking an Assistant II for the TLED Computer Centers to assist students, faculty, and staff with technical issues in the Computer Center and to check out technology such as iPads and webcams.

This hourly role requires strong customer service, FERPA awareness, and the ability to balance inquiries across ACCMail, Blackboard, and other systems; based at Riverside Campus, Tue/Thu 8:00am–5:00pm, up to 19 hours weekly, at $24.10 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Experience supporting students and staff with tech is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist students, faculty, and staff with technical issues in the Computer Center.
• Answer questions about ACCMail, Blackboard, and other systems; route non-technical queries.
• Coordinate second-level requests for access when needed.
• Adhere to FERPA and other privacy regulations.
• Provide feedback on frequent support requests for training opportunities.
• Checkout technology to students and staff (iPads, webcams, etc.).
• Enter data and maintain records in tracking systems.
