Job summary

San Diego Community College District is seeking a Student System Support Technician in the Educational Services Division’s District Student Services department. This on‑site role supports the student information ecosystem, requiring careful data handling, report generation, and adherence to policies.

Hours are standard weekdays, with Overtime possible under shift patterns. Ideal candidates will work well in a team, communicate clearly, and manage organizational systems to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Teamwork in a collaborative environment with strong communication.
• Ability to multi‑task, maintain accurate files, and prepare reports.
• Knowledge of financial aid processes in higher education settings.
• Ability to interpret rules, policies, and procedures for students.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft, Colleague, or Banner.
• Two to three years of experience interpreting and applying rules in student services.
