Job summary

West Virginia K-12 Jobs seeks a SAT Coordinator for Baileysville Elementary and Middle School. This contract/extracurricular role supports at‑risk students, leads SAT meetings, and coordinates with parents and staff to review data and implement interventions.

The successful candidate will maintain records, schedule meetings, and document outcomes, with priority given to WV‑certified educators and current school staff.

Qualifications

• Valid WV Teacher Certification, Licensure, and/or Both.
• Knowledge of the community and enrolled students; preference to current school faculty.
• Familiarity with SAT processes and data-driven interventions.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and organize SAT meetings with at-risk students, parents, and staff.
• Guide SAT meetings by reviewing data and recommending interventions.
• Support teachers in delivering instructional and behavioral interventions using data.
• Assist SAT members and parents in understanding referral data and decisions.
• Schedule SAT meetings and notify members and parents of sessions.
• Maintain official SAT meeting records and outcomes.
• Coordinate with outside agencies and administrators as needed.
• Summarize discussions and decisions; maintain SAT log.
