American Public University/American Military University is seeking a Student Support Representative (SSR) to be the front-line resource for students. The SSR will assist with questions about programs, policies, financing, and procedures, while staying informed about federal privacy laws affecting students.

The ideal candidate will deliver one-stop resolution for tier-one inquiries and route more complex issues to the appropriate departments to ensure timely and accurate student support for AMU

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of the University and its policies, including federal privacy laws for students.
• Familiar with information related to federal student funding options.
• Understanding of degree programs, courses, financing methods and administrative procedures.

American Public University/American Military UniversityThe Student Support Representative (SSR) is the “front line” resource for assistance to students attending American Military University (AMU) and American Public University (APU). The position is expected to have a broad based knowledge of the University and its policies (including federal privacy laws for students), as well as degree programs, courses, financing methods, administrative procedures, and processes. The Representative must also be familiar with information related to federal educational funding options as well as United States military educational funding sources. The successful SSR will be able to provide one-stop resolution for students with tier one questions and refer students to appropriate departments for any needed in-depth assistance.
