Job summary

River Grove School District 85.5 is seeking a paraprofessional to support classroom instruction and social-emotional growth. You will work closely with teachers to reinforce learning through small-group and one-on-one activities.

The role includes assisting with instructional routines, collaborating with staff, and helping students succeed. Starting wage is $21 per hour with benefits such as medical and life insurance and sick leave pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 49 college semester hours OR successful completion of the WorkKeys Assessment Skills Test (offered at Triton College)
• Ability to successfully perform the essential duties of the position

• Leading and supporting small-group instructional activities
• Providing social-emotional support to students
