Job summary

Coolidge is seeking a paraprofessional to support teachers in classroom settings. Under the supervisor of the teacher, you will work with small student groups to reinforce material and assist with classroom activities at various educational levels.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, with options of paraprofessional test, 60 college credits, or an associate degree. Applicants must obtain an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card and have First Aid/CPR or obtain it within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.Paraprofessional test or 60 college credits or an associate degree.
• Three letters of recommendation preferably from previous employers or supervisors.
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• First Aid/CPR or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of the teacher, works with small groups of students to reinforce material introduced by the teacher.
• Participates in in-service training programs as assigned.
• Performs duties to ensure student safety at the school site.
• Performs related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
