Job summary

Hands of Heartland is seeking a Full Time Professional in Omaha, NE to work with school-age students with an IEP. Under supervision of a certified teacher, you will help develop academic and daily living skills, provide social-emotional support, and assist with transitions to independent living.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm. Starting pay ranges from $19.00 to $21.00 per hour. Experience not required—we provide training and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Must be able to pass all background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted academic, daily living, and social-emotional support to students with an IEP.
• Assist in transitions from school to adult living with real-life experiences.
• Record daily data on student goals and progress.
• Support students with self-care and mobility as needed.
