Job summary

Dapto High School is seeking a dedicated Student Support Officer (Full Time, Temporary ACIP) to join the wellbeing team and support student wellbeing and learning outcomes. You will work closely with school counsellors and external agencies to provide targeted support and help build referral pathways for students and families.

The role requires a completed diploma or higher qualification in social work, youth work, welfare or related discipline, plus a valid WWCC.

Total Remuneration Package: The salary range for this position is $76,661.00 – $112,401.00 per annum (pro-rata for part time roles). The total salary package will include employer’s contribution to superannuation and leave loading.

About the Role

Student Support Officers work within the school community to enhance student wellbeing and learning outcomes in partnership with the wellbeing team and the school counselling service. Student Support Officers provide individual and targeted wellbeing support and whole of school wellbeing initiatives and programs that are evidence-based. They have a pivotal role in working collaboratively with external agencies and creating referral pathways for students and families to child and family support agencies.

Essential Requirements

• A completed diploma or higher qualification in social work, youth work, welfare or related discipline ++must be++ attached along with your application
