Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, mental health, or similar discipline preferred.
• An Associate’s degree or 60+ college credits required.
• One+ year of relevant school experience preferred.
• CPI, CPR, and First Aid certifications required; interventionist training within six months.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct instruction and/or assists students in classroom settings per IEP.
• Adapts materials and environment to support student access to standards.
• Monitors IEP objectives and collects data for planning.
• Collaborates with teachers, parents, and specialists to support student progress.
• Prepares instructional materials and assists in learning centers.
