Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of post-secondary study (90 quarter credits) or an Associate’s Degree.
• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Minimum two years of school-related experience preferred.
• Ability to relate well to students, staff and the public.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of clerical tasks and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist students individually or in small groups.
• Develop lesson plans and strategies with supervising teacher.
• Administer informal assessments and score work.
• Confer with teachers and staff to meet student needs.
• Maintain records and input data as required.
• Manage student behavior with positive interventions.
• Perform clerical duties and operate office equipment.
