Job summary

The Catholic Charities of New York International Center-ESOL is seeking a Student Support and Training Coordinator- ESOL and Workforce to aid newly arrived immigrants and refugees in English proficiency and job preparation.

Under supervision, you will recruit students for the Bridge to Healthcare Program, provide individualized guidance, coordinate outreach, and support program operations, with evenings and occasional weekend hours to meet participant needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• Experience with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit participants through outreach, presentations and workshops, in person or virtual.
• Maintain program data in ECM and other databases; assist with intake and assessments.
• Provide case management support and coordinate with partners to support student engagement.
