Qualifications

  • Two years of relevant professional experience in federal programs or similar programs for disadvantaged and at-risk students.
  • Counseling experience in a community college or four-year institution.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized and comprehensive academic, personal, career, and transfer counseling to Student Support Services students.
  • Develop personalized service plans to meet students’ needs and promote self-concept and self-esteem.
  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions and facilitate seminars/workshops on academic, personal, social, and career topics.
